The Origin of TED-Ed

In 2012, TED head Chris Anderson and TED-Ed Executive Director Logan Smalley tapped HW’s creative director, Kari Mulholland, to invent a new video format that integrated TED Talks with animation. Together with a team of brilliant animators, she created the founding series that launched the TED-Ed initiative.
