Kari Mulholland - Creative Director
Kari Mulholland is a science storyteller and creative producer who has launched many initiatives that have grown into cultural forces. She co-created the TED Talk online format, served as creative lead for the launch of TED-Ed, and was part of the leadership team that launched a natural history museum. From directing and producing animations, documentaries, promotional media, live events, and outreach programs, Kari excels at finding creative solutions that engage audiences and exceed her clients’ expectations. She holds a BS from CUNY BA, where she studied neuroscience, cognitive science, and media history, and is completing an MFA at Hunter’s IMA program, exploring how storytelling technologies can reshape our relationship to the natural world.
Isabel Behncke - Science Advisor
Isabel Behncke is a behavioral and evolutionary scientist who works on animal behavior and its interaction with nature. She works in biodiversity conservation in Chile and serves as a member of the Science, Technology, Knowledge and Innovation Council for the Chilean President. Originally from Chile, Isabel enjoys the dynamic interplay between fieldwork and theory. Dr. Behncke has an MSc from the University College London in Conservation Biology, MPhil from Cambridge University in Human Evolution, and a Ph.D. from Oxford University in Evolutionary Anthropology.
